Dance So Sweetly To My Melody

I sit within my castle of stone, hiding inside the confides of the walls. I gaze out at the people as the move about doing this and that. A beautiful lass appears in my view, and I do approach her and invite her to join me for a evening of fun. She does accept my invitation and accompanies me for the night. I take her out to where she wants to go, and I offer her all her desires. At the end of the night, she leaves, with all my gifts but not by my side. Rather she summons another to her bedchamber, a man from which she can gain very little. She cares not of this, for once she has acquired all she can take from him, she will toss him aside. Not long after my failed courting, as I sat sulking on the cold stone floors with a playful tune in the background, another wondrous beauty did come along. She grasped my hand and thus invited me to dance. As we spun around together but world felt free. I smiled and gazed into her majestic eyes and she lay her head softly upon my shoulder. The night soon came to an end, and there in the shadows, stood a handsome man waiting to take her home, and away from my grasp. Alas, as I was attempting to court these fair ladies, another did dance quietly around. Persistently she did try and land in my gaze. Unfortunately for her, as soon as I did see her I cast her away. I am sad to have needed to send her away, but one must be absolute in their desires. Taking anything that is offered is a fool's game. A game in which I will have no role in, again. Until the sweet scent I desire drifts towards me, I will sit, wait, and dream while listening to a joyful melody.

True Evil I Am

I have evil inside of me

It hungers to cause conflict

Yet it disguises so I do not see

And the trouble I could not predict

I try to be kind and please

But my emotions are in turmoil

And I tend to turn into a tease

Inevitably everything tends to recoil

Embracing you as we meet

Holding you in a warm hug

Smelling your hair, oh so sweet

And a smile come to my mug
